HOW MANY BUNDLES SHOULD I GET?
Q: How many bundles do I need for a full install?
A:
Because DreamAmoure Hair is Double Drawn (DD) and weighs approximately 100g+ per bundle, our bundles are designed to be fuller from root to tip for a more dense, salon-quality finish.
Recommended guide:
- 12” – 16” → 2 bundles for a natural full look
- 18” – 24” → 3 bundles for a voluminous, salon-quality finish
Pro Tip (for extra fullness):
For longer lengths (24”), traditional sew-ins, or a more glam, fuller look, adding a 4th bundle will give maximum density.
Q: Does texture affect how many bundles I should get?
A:
Yes — texture plays a major role in how full your install appears.
Sleek & Wavy Textures (Straight / Body Wave / Loose Wave)
These textures lay flatter, so they may require more bundles for fullness.
- 22” – 24” → 3–4 bundles recommended
Volume Textures (Deep Wave / Deep Curl / Jerry Curl)
These textures naturally expand, creating more fullness.
- 3 bundles is typically ideal
Maximum Volume Textures (Burmese Curly / Kinky Curl)
These textures have the most density and shrinkage.
- 2–3 bundles recommended
- A 4th bundle may create an overly bulky look
Q: Why does curly hair look shorter than straight hair?
A:
This is called shrinkage — it is completely normal for curly and kinky textures. Hair is measured in its stretched length.
- Curly hair may appear 2–4 inches shorter when worn naturally
- To achieve a longer visible length, we recommend ordering a longer bundle length to account for shrinkage
Q: How many bundles do I need for a bob or short style?
A:
Because our DD bundles are full and dense, less is needed for shorter styles.
- 12” – 14” → 2 bundles for a natural bob
- For a fuller, blunt, more structured bob → 3 bundles recommended.
